About the role:

Are you analytically minded, passionate about solving complex problems, and ready to contribute to high‑impact client projects? Our Corporate Finance team is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Analyst with strong financial modelling skills to join us.

This role offers exposure to a diverse range of clients and transactions, hands‑on development of financial models, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in a supportive, collaborative environment.

As an Analyst in our Corporate Finance team, you will support clients in making informed strategic and financial decisions. You will work closely with the wider team to:

  • Develop robust Excel‑based financial models and reporting tools for acquisitions, divestments, capital raises, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Review and test existing financial models to ensure accuracy, clarity, and confidence in key outputs and assumptions.

  • Assist in preparing model specifications, documentation, and key project deliverables.

  • Participate in client workshops, supporting the facilitation and delivery of modelling insights.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed analytical work and thrives in a team that values curiosity, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Please note, while this role has a preference for being Sydney‑based, we remain open to other locations for the right candidate.

About you:

You will bring strong analytical capability, a problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a financial modelling, analytics, corporate finance, or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including confidence working with complex formulas, model structures, and large datasets.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

  • A proactive, hands‑on approach to tasks and stakeholder engagement.

Education

Essential (either):

  • Degree in Business/Commerce with an Accounting major; or

  • Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering

Desirable:

  • Progress toward CA or equivalent qualification
