About the role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Analyst in Corporate Tax to join our Sydney office. From preparing tax returns across a diverse portfolio, to decoding legislation, tackling ATO queries, and contributing to high‑impact tax research, you’ll be right in the action, learning fast and making a genuine difference. If you’re someone who loves detail, enjoys uncovering insights in data, and gets excited about building a career with depth and purpose, this role is your launchpad.

You will:

  • Prepare tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals

  • Prepare individual tax returns involving foreign‑sourced income

  • Compile fringe benefits tax (FBT) returns

  • Conduct tax research across a range of issues

  • Interpret and apply tax regulations and legislation

  • Assist with tax audits and ATO‑related queries

  • Demonstrate an understanding of core tax concepts such as Assessable Income, Allowable Deductions, Capital Allowances, and FBT

  • Develop working knowledge of Capital Gains Tax, Loss Provisions, GST, Trust Taxation, Withholding Tax, and Division 7A

You love diving into the detail, spotting what others miss, and transforming data into meaningful insights. You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and take pride in producing high‑quality work.

You’ll also bring:

Essential

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • A Business, Commerce, or Finance degree with an Accounting major

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

  • Proficiency in Excel

Desirable

  • A double degree in Business/Commerce/Finance/Law with an Accounting major

  • Commencement of CA or equivalent qualification
