About The Team:
The Enterprise Risk and Compliance team are risk and compliance professionals who are responsible for achieving ASX’s strategy through the delivery of Great Fundamentals, namely mature risk, compliance and operating frameworks, and exists to inspire confidence and trust in the ASX.
About The Role:
The Analyst, Enterprise Risk and Compliance role is a 2nd line role within the Risk division at ASX, who will support the implementation of the Enterprise Compliance framework and strategy. Working closely with both line 2 and line 1 risk management teams and business SMEs to ensure governance, reporting, and education elements of the enterprise compliance plan are appropriately implemented across ASX. The Analyst, Enterprise Risk and Compliance role is a 2nd line role within the Risk division at ASX, who will support the implementation of the Enterprise Compliance framework and strategy. Working closely with both line 2 and line 1 risk management teams and business SMEs to ensure governance, reporting, and education elements of the enterprise compliance plan are appropriately implemented across ASX.
What You'll Do:
- The role assists across a range of compliance related activities, specifically proactive monitoring of regulatory developments, facilitating the regulatory change management process, assisting with the preparation of compliance reporting to relevant committees, regulatory reporting, and enhancing policies and procedures.
- Respond to compliance related enquiries, policy governance and guidance on conflicts related matters.
- Support the delivery of monthly and quarterly risk reporting to the board, management committees and the Executive team
- Support the broader team with line 2 compliance monitoring and assessment reviews.
- Assist in the review of training materials, Enterprise Compliance owned policies and procedures.
- Assist in efforts to promote best practice risk management, including risk culture, throughout ASX
What You'll Need:
Must have
- Demonstrated the ability to build strong internal relationships and collaborate and work effectively across teams
- Worked with basic databases, extracting data and producing reports with strong data analysis skills
- Completed courses on corporate, commercial or financial services regulation
- Worked in a time-sensitive environment with competing priorities
- Communication skills – excellent oral, written and presentation
Nice to have
- Exposure to risk transformation or regulatory remediation programs
- Knowledge and/or experience in exchange, trading and/or clearing and settlement processes
- Experience in development of GRC tooling and associated implementation
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using Power BI
