Responsibilities:
- Support the Taiwan Director of Government & Public Affairs in project coordination, event execution, and research to advance the team's strategic objectives.
- Assist in preparing briefing and presentation materials for executive-level meetings with stakeholders.
- Develop an understanding of Micron's position in Taiwan's policy environment and potential issues to effectively track and evaluate key legislative, policy, and regulatory risks and opportunities.
- Conduct research and analyses of policies and legislation, and assist in developing Micron's official responses to government and industry association groups.
- Willingness to travel to Micron sites across Taiwan to support site operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in political science, economics, or a related field.
- Core understanding of Taiwan's political environment and policy formulation process.
- Proven project management skills to ensure tasks are executed according to predetermined goals, timelines, and resources.
- Ability to communicate effectively with government officials, internal stakeholders, and industry associations.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Adaptable and agile in response to the fast-paced and dynamic needs of the company.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with policies related to the semiconductor and Information and Communications Technology sectors.
- Experience managing or coordinating a small team and driving execution to keep deliverables, timelines, and stakeholders on track.
- Experience engaging with local communities and developing community engagement plans (e.g., stakeholder mapping, outreach strategy, events, and feedback loops).
