Job Description

Role Specification Focus on Data Analyse, develop, deploy and test pricing data and pricing algorithms in pricing systemsPreparing test plans & constructing test case in pricing systemsDevelop deep understanding of pricing data sources, data engineering & manipulation logicSubject Matter ExpertiseAssist in the implementation of statistical/actuarial analysis into pricing systemsDevise, implement and monitor pricing processes within agreed time scalesFocus on automation possibilities in order to gain efficienciesDeep understanding of pricing infrastructure, including recommending and designing changes Customer FocusAdopt and model a strong customer focus in the delivery of all services offered by the team & Build positive stakeholder relationships across teams Key Capabilities Analytical skills – ability to analyse data and identify key issues, develop solutions and drive data-based decisionsProficiency in programming, development and or testing is essentialHigh Level of Excel Skills, problem solving, numerical skills and accuracy Strong and professional communication to understand scope and relay solutions – ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both verbally and in writing.The ability to understand a diverse infrastructure of technologies and complex systems in a continuously changing environment

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience Graduate in Computer Science, Actuarial, Analytics or similarMinimum 1-2 years of relevant technical experience.Technical skills SAS Programming – Advanced Level, R Programming- Intermediate to Advanced level, SQL – Advanced levelExcel & Dash boarding work– IntermediateSome exposure to BI reporting, and Visualisation tool like Cognos or Tableau or R-ShinyInsurance industry experience desirable
