About the Team

The Dasher and Logistics Strategy & Operations team ensures every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy, and a positive Consumer, Merchant and Driver (‘Dasher’) experience. We’re building the world’s leading last-mile logistics platform, and our team owns initiatives that touch all parts of the Dasher and Logistics life cycle ranging from cost and quality to Dasher retention, to order batching and beyond.

Our mission is to be the most cost-efficient and best-in-class quality last-mile delivery platform for Customers and Merchants, as well as the preferred platform for anyone looking for flexible work in Australia & New Zealand. 

About the Role

We are hiring two roles to help manage and execute critical processes to empower Dashers and their experience on the DoorDash platform. 

While there is no typical day for our Strategy and Operations team, you will work on various tasks, such as leading processes to support Dashers from acquisition to growth, gathering and analysing data, translating insights into meaningful improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will report into the Manager, Strategy & Operations on our Dasher & Logistics team. We expect this role to be hybrid, with some time in-office and some time remote.

  • Take ownership of daily processes, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Handle real-time problem-solving and support for Dashers, merchants, and internal teams
  • Manage and improve existing workflows to keep operations running smoothly
  • Ensure timely execution of initiatives, meeting deadlines and operational goals
  • Be the main escalation point for support teams, resolving issues quickly and efficiently
  • Be proactive in identifying and resolving operational issues as they arise
  • Support cross-functional teams by handling administrative and coordination tasks 
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to keep projects on track
