About the role 
 

We're seeking an Analyst - JV Partners to support the strategic development and management of our joint venture partnerships across Transurban's infrastructure portfolio.

 

You'll join an innovative team who are dedicated to fostering cross-business collaboration and driving value through coordination and development of strategic partnership intelligence.

 

As our Analyst - JV Partners, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities by gathering market intelligence, facilitating partner relationship management, and supporting corporate development activities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work that directly impacts the growth and strategic positioning of our infrastructure projects. 

 

Day-to-day, you will: 
 

  • Assist in developing protocols and governance for joint ventures, ensuring consistency of management and optimising investor returns.
  • Support the planning, prioritising, tracking, and delivery of various partnership-related project tasks.
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with key existing stakeholders and assist in identifying future investment partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective and efficient relationship management across all regions.
  • Support commercial evaluations and analyses to assess investment and partnership opportunities.
  • Prepare commercial support for deliverables such as Board Strategy, transformation projects, and industry research.
  • Assist in the development of financial models and analyses for investment and commercial opportunities.
  • Support transactions related to the establishment, amendment, or maintenance of partnerships.

 

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: 
 

  • 2 to 4 years of professional services experience (e.g., Big 4, technical advisory, or in-house advisory) or relevant commercial discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to navigate complex issues and projects.
  • Excellent commercial and investment analysis skills, including data analysis and project/program management experience.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and recommendations both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, coupled with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
