Billigence seeks an experienced Analytics Engineer to join a high-impact data consolidation program. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models and reporting layers that serve as a single source of truth across the organisation. A key focus will be building a Golden Metrics framework and migrating existing dashboards into a unified platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build robust, well-documented data models in BigQuery using dbt
- Create and manage a centralised reporting data layer ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Support migration of dashboards from legacy platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to the new consolidated environment
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business logic into scalable data solutions
- Implement data quality controls and governance practices
- Monitor and optimise workflows for performance and cost efficiency
Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in data modelling and transformation
- Hands-on experience with dbt and Google BigQuery (or similar cloud data platforms)
- Experience migrating dashboards and reports across BI platforms
- Solid understanding of data governance and quality principles
- Proven ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
