Job Description

The Field Sales/Store Development organization is dedicated to driving sales growth and ensuring best-in-class execution across retail channels. The team partners closely with internal stakeholders, retailers, distributors, third-party agencies, and suppliers to bring category and brand strategies to life in both physical stores and online environments. The role requires strong commercial acumen, execution excellence, and the ability to identify growth opportunities within a dynamic FMCG landscape.

The ANZ Sales Execution Leader is responsible for executing sales and store development strategies that drive business growth across priority channels and categories. This role leads a team of field sales professionals while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent retail execution, effective promotional activation, and strong stewardship compliance.


The successful candidate will bring strong experience within the FMCG industry, particularly in grocery and retail channels, and demonstrate the ability to translate commercial strategies into executional excellence that delivers business results.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales and store development strategies to drive business growth across assigned brands, categories, and channels.
  • Lead and develop a team of field sales professionals, providing coaching, direction, and performance support.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and third-party agencies to ensure effective execution of sales initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve in-store and online execution, increase sales performance, and strengthen brand presence.
  • Manage agency and supplier partnerships to deliver high-quality activations and retail execution programs.
  • Monitor market, channel, and shopper trends to uncover growth opportunities and recommend actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of commercial and category objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, stewardship requirements, and relevant external regulations.

Job Qualifications

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in sales execution, field sales, store development, or commercial operations.
  • Demonstrated experience executing sales and retail strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience leading projects, initiatives, or process improvements that delivered measurable business outcomes.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in Field Sales or Store Development within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of the grocery retail channel and broader retail landscape.
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a commercial or sales environment.
  • Experience managing third-party agencies, merchandising partners, or external suppliers.
  • Familiarity with category execution, promotional activations, and retail sales programs.
  • Exposure to both brick-and-mortar retail and eCommerce/online sales environments.
