As a Market Research Manager you will lead and leverage primary and secondary research, and work with internal functions (Market Access, Medical, Commercial, etc) to provide detailed insights, financial analysis and strategic recommendations to drive informed decision-making.

Required Education and Experience: 

·      Minimum Graduate Degree in life and/or natural sciences, medicine, pharmaceutical or a similar scientific discipline. Alternative qualifications may be considered if augmented by relevant training or experience

·      Preferred post-graduate degree in relevant scientific, health economic or business fields

·      Minimum 5 years’ experience in either:

o  Pharmaceuticals/Biotechnology – Commercial, Medical or Market Access

o  Associated adjacent organisations, such as Pharmaceutical Consulting

o  Financial Analysis in Banking / Healthcare

o  Business Development in Pharmaceutical /Biotech

·     Experience engaging specialist healthcare professionals and hospitals

·     Experience assessing novel innovative treatments in China

·     Understanding and experience in Asia Pacific pharmaceutical policy and landscape (for example pricing and reimbursement) - an advantage

·     Prior experience with rare diseases and/or oncology - an advantage

·     Fluent English – essential

·     Fluency in Mandarin - essential

Required Skills:

·      Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to successfully maintain professional and trusting relationships

·      Flexibility in engaging with global team in different time zones, including regular meetings out of local business hours

·      Innovative and strategic thinking

·      Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities

·      Works effectively in highly dynamic and changing environments

·      Ability to participate in multiple complex projects and deliver on (at times) urgent business priorities

·      Ability to collaborate and influence across senior stakeholders internally and externally

·      Able to encourage cooperation between functions

·      Commercial, financial and marketing acumen and skills

·      Managing complexity (across brands, markets, functions)
