What you will be doing
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-facing Appian Solution Architect/ Presales Consultant to drive both technical delivery and business growth in the DXC Appian practice. This role blends technical expertise with strong client engagement skills, allowing for both billable consulting work and presales activities as required. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Appian architecture, business process automation, and system integrations while also excelling in articulating methodologies and value propositions to clients.
What will keep you busy
- Engage directly with financial services clients to understand business challenges and propose Appian-based solutions.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities and value of Appian.
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance Appian solutions aligned with enterprise goals and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to craft compelling proposals, proof-of-concepts, and technical demonstrations.
- Articulate Appian development methodologies, governance, and implementation strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Balance between billable project work and presales support, adapting to business needs.
- Guide and mentor teams in best practices for Appian development and delivery.
- Design and implement integrations between Appian and external financial systems using APIs, web services, and other integration patterns.
- Stay up to date with Appian platform updates and emerging trends in financial services technology.
The skills you will bring
- 5+ years of experience in Appian solution design and implementation.
- Strong customer engagement skills with the ability to lead discussions, present technical concepts, and influence decision-making.
- Appian Senior or Lead Developer Certification
- Experience with Appian Case Management, Process HQ, Data Fabric, Total Experience, RPA and AI capabilities
- Expertise in Appian objects, including Records, Sites, Process Models, Rules, Reports, and Interfaces.
- Proficiency in integrating Appian with external systems via REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
- Knowledge of financial services industry processes and regulatory requirements is a plus
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD for Appian deployments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
