Location/Division Specific Information

Located in an Australian capital city, working across the Australia and New Zealand region, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (CMD)

Keys to Success:

  • Driving revenue growth by ensuring that the required technical support services are delivered in the most effective and efficient way (e.g. pre-sales product demonstrations, installations, product trainings, customer follow-up and issue of quality complaints)
  • Fostering a driven collaboration of the Sales and the Applications team
  • Follow-up on customer feedback and drive customer experience with the aim of improving customer satisfaction, which is measured through the Customer Allegiance Score (CAS)
  • Communicating customer feedback and market intelligence to the product management, R&D and marketing teams to allow the company to develop strategies and products, which are needed by/fit for the market
  • Defining, communicating and continuously supervising the team´s annual goals
  • Acting to empower, coach and develop the team in a changing business environment.
  • Supporting the team members in their personal development through regular performance reviews and setting-up personal development plans

Education

  • Degree in sciences with profound knowledge in chromotography and mass spectrometry, proteomics.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in support function, team leadership abilities
  • 8 years of relevant, industry-specific experience in a proteomic or analytical science area

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong leadership and management skill
  • Good communication, presentation and social skills
  • Able and willing to travel to customer locations
