The Application Specialist role is being opened to support growing demand for our healthcare software solutions as we expand our customer base and product offerings. As we onboard more clients and integrate with increasingly complex clinical systems, we require a technically skilled application specialist who can bridge the gap between customer needs and our software’s capabilities. This role ensures smooth deployment, effective troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our applications in healthcare environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development or integration of TrakCare application in a manner that will follow the methodologies and processes of InterSystems
  • Provide Advanced Technical Support & Troubleshooting as a tier 2/3 technical resource for escalated issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems involving data integrity, system performance, or code-level bugs.
  • Create tools, scripts, or minor code fixes to improve system reliability or client-specific workflows.
  • Support testing, validation and documentation of new releases in real-world healthcare environments

 Qualifications:

Programming Languages

  • Proficient in JavaScript and Angular. Familiarity with Python and Cache ObjectScript is desirable.

Documentation

  • Ability to design and write technical documents

SQL & Data Management

    • Ability to query and manipulate data using SQL.

Integration Skills

    • Experience integrating with EHR systems
    • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

InterSystems IRIS / Caché / Ensemble Experience (nice to have)

    • Knowledge of database architecture and data modeling in IRIS or Caché.
    • Understanding of message routing, data transformations, and business processes in Ensemble/IRIS for Health.
