Join our team as an energetic and innovative Applications Engineering Manager and lead our dedicated team in validating and ensuring the performance of our cutting-edge hardware and software products. This role involves strategic oversight of testing operations, direct management of the engineering test team, and close collaboration with cross-functional departments to drive quality and innovation.

At Morse Micro you will be working with experienced professionals and engineers, some of whom are the team that invented the original Wi-Fi technology that is ubiquitous today.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the applications engineering test team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Oversee software regression and hardware design validation testing.
- Ensure the team meets performance, coverage, and range comparison targets.
- Drive the creation of detailed test reports and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams.
- Manage the debugging process for complex issues.
- Maintain and enhance the infrastructure required for extensive testing and automation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in applications engineering and testing with wireless communication technologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical acumen.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OTA, multi-device setups, and complex hardware/software environments.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of de-sense testing, range testing, and rf coverage comparisons.
- Experience in creating marketing collateral and technical reports.
