Purpose of your role

We are at a pivotal stage in our evolution. Our creative identity is in transformation: campaign platforms, brand storytelling, visual systems, and the way we connect with our audience. As our Art Director, you will be at the heart of this transformation, shaping the creative DNA that will define OFX for years to come.

This is a role for a fearless, ambitious creative: someone who can lead with ideas, challenge conventions, and run with ambiguity. You will lead an internal team, integrate AI into the creative process, and scale high-quality, world-class creative across markets, channels, and platforms.

You won’t just execute campaigns, you’ll set the standard, crafting bold narratives, and raising the creative standard of the entire team to build confidence, sharpen thinking and drive an ambitious creative culture.

If you thrive on defining brands, shaping culture, and building systems that scale, this is the opportunity for you.

What you will do

Lead creative vision

  • Own the big ideas. Develop campaign concepts, product narratives, and creative platforms that define our brand globally.
  • Translate strategy, insight, and commercial goals into clear, compelling, and emotionally resonant creative.
  • Lead creative from concept to execution across digital, social, web, motion and customer campaigns.
  • Work across functions to bring the brand to life across all touchpoints from internal alignment, product experiences and go-to-market activity.

Shape & evolve our brand expression

  • Protect and evolve our visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring every asset reflects the brand we’re building.
  • Develop scalable frameworks, templates, and systems that ensure quality and consistency as we grow.
  • Drive brand evolution in a way that is distinctive, modern, and bold in a competitive, fast-paced industry.
  • Stay ahead of creative, cultural, and design trends to ensure the brand feels modern, relevant, and daring.

Build scalable creative systems that drive performance

  • Build a creative engine that can produce high-volume, high-quality work without losing craft or impact.
  • Leverage AI and emerging tools to accelerate creative workflows, experimentation, and iteration.
  • Build repeatable systems, modular assets, guidelines and templates that allow the design team, and the wider business to operate with speed.
  • Use performance signals to refine the creative without watering down the idea. Evolve creative based on insights to optimize performance throughout the funnel.
  • Drive creative effectiveness across paid social, Radio, YouTube, search-supported video, OOH and emerging channels.

Build, lead, & elevate high-performance in the creative team - functional leadership.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers, helping them grow in creative confidence, craft, and strategic thinking.
  • Provide clear, actionable creative direction and feedback that elevates both the quality of work and the capability of the team.
  • Create an environment where designers are empowered to think conceptually, push boundaries, and take ownership of their work.
  • Establish creative standards, processes, and rituals that enable the team to operate with clarity, consistency, and ambition.

Collaborate across teams & markets

  • Partner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Product, Growth, and Content teams to turn strategy into creative reality.
  • Act as the primary design point of contact for key internal stakeholders, building strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and open communication.
  • Clearly communicate complex ideas to internal teams to drive influence and buy-in.
  • Translate business objectives and performance insights into creative opportunities.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • 6–10+ years of experience in art direction, design, or creative leadership within high-growth agencies, B2B Saas, or studios.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and mentoring creative teams.
  • A portfolio that shows concept-led thinking, world-building campaigns, and exceptional craft.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy and insight into bold, compelling creative ideas.
  • Experience building scalable creative systems and frameworks that enable high-volume execution.
  • Proficiency with modern creative tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, motion tools) and familiarity with AI-assisted workflows.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and influence skills.
  • Comfortable working at pace in an evolving environment and in ambiguity; resilient, adaptable, resourceful and positive.
  • Ambition, curiosity, and hunger for impact. Someone looking to leave a creative legacy.
