Job Summary:
As a Portfolio Reporting and Analytics Associate within the Private Capital team, you will be instrumental in facilitating the smooth onboarding of investments, ensuring precise valuations, and managing data from portfolio companies effectively. Your role will also encompass the preparation of management reports and the provision of insightful analysis.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the onboarding process for new investments, ensuring all necessary documentation and data are collected and accurately recorded.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth transitions and integration of new investments into the portfolio.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of investment valuations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and methodologies.
  • Maintain and update valuation models and tools, providing accurate and timely valuation data to stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive data sets from portfolio companies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement processes for data collection, validation, and analysis to support portfolio monitoring and performance evaluation.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc management reports, providing insights and analysis on portfolio performance and key metrics.
  • Collaborate with the portfolio management team to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the portfolio.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of portfolio management operations.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and technological advancements to drive innovation within the team.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding portfolio management operations.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in portfolio management, investment operations, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Experience with data management and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Experience with portfolio management software and systems.
