We are looking for a Assistant Country Manager for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong and long lasting relationships with all AU/NZ operators.
  • Strategize on how to grow the local market particularly in AU/NZ .
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to promote the local market, and promote reseller / affiliate programs.
  • Find new local operators in AU/NZ, find new deals, and try to maximize profit for the company from current operators.
  • Assist Finance Team on reconciliation of balances/invoices, check on remaining deposits, and assist with sales estimation during peak season.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development/ ticketing/ customer relation.
  • Online travel background (GDS, OTA, Meta Searches, bus/ferry companies, TMS etc.).
  • Ability to make things happen and proactivity: close the agreements, find growth points, find solutions to increase sales and more.
  • Ability to travel within the region.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of competitors and the market of travel, ground transportation in the AU/NZ.
  • Previous remote work experience.
  • Our tech stack: Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Analytics, Google Docs. Previous experience would be a plus.
