We’re seeking a detail‑driven and proactive Assistant Finance Manager to support our Corporate Controllership function. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager – Controllership. This is a hands‑on role involving month‑end close, balance sheet governance, tax compliance support, treasury activities, and mentoring offshore team members.
What You’ll Do
Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
Support preparation of consolidated financial statements & impairment assessments
Manage group leases and perform financial statement analytics
Prepare and review journals with clear, policy‑aligned documentation
Oversee intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
Assist with technical accounting research and statutory audit preparation
Support cash flow forecasting and cash optimisation initiatives
Assist with BAS reviews, ATO reconciliations, GST analytics & tax provision work
Mentor offshore team members and contribute to process improvement/UAT
What You’ll Bring
CA/CPA qualification
3 to 4 years in a multinational controllership or corporate finance team
Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge
Experience with SOX, balance sheet review & financial reporting
Exposure to tax governance and audit processes
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and professional scepticism
Ability to work across onshore/offshore teams and manage competing priorities
