Location: Remote (AU-based preferred)

The Account Manager plays an essential role in supporting our growing client base across Small-to-Medium Businesses (SMB). Reporting into the APAC Sales Director, this role helps deliver recruitment SaaS solutions by managing key client relationships, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upsell and expansion across our product suite.
This role is ideal for a recruitment consultant with 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume recruitment desk or B2B sales role, looking to pivot into the SaaS industry. You’ll work directly with clients, provide product support, and contribute to revenue and retention goals—gaining strong exposure to both account management and commercial sales. While the role has no direct reports, it is a high-impact, client-facing position with collaboration across Sales, Product, and Support teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of recruitment and corporate clients

  • Oversee monthly software subscription renewals and ensure timely contract management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, driving long-term retention and satisfaction

  • Identify and support upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across client base

  • Conduct client meetings including onboarding, product demonstrations, reviews, and training

  • Consult with stakeholders at all levels—including HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations Managers, and Business Owners

  • Analyse account performance and market data to identify risk or opportunity and provide recommendations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records including contract details, renewals, and account plans

  • Support strategic marketing and sales initiatives to ensure client engagement and revenue targets are met

  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Support teams to resolve client issues

  • Prepare and deliver client presentations and Business Reviews (QBRs)

  • Maintain a consistent level of sales activity and build a healthy opportunity pipeline

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, where applicable

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, account management, or B2B sales

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—both written and verbal

  • Comfortable engaging with clients at all levels, including C-Suite and senior leadership

  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities across multiple client accounts

  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and professionalism

  • Proven fast learner with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, tech-driven environment

  • A proactive, consultative mindset with the ability to understand client needs and present tailored solutions

  • Strong presentation and client-facing experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment

  • Cultural awareness to engage with stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM or SaaS tools

  • Experience with recruitment software, ATS, or HR tech is highly regarded

  • Prior exposure to account management in recruitment agency or talent tech is advantageous

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field preferred

  • Minimum 1 year in a B2B client-facing or recruitment environment
