Job Description

Purpose of the role:

The role of the CRM Associate is to work closely with the senior CRMs and support all aspects of fund marketing activities, client prospect due diligence and onboarding processes.

  • Opportunity:

    • Work at a global leader in alternative investments covering all asset classes (infrastructure, real estate, private equity, and private credit)

    • Develop a deep understanding Brookfield’s private funds activities with the view to progress into a junior Client Relationship Management role longer-term

    • Contribute to the growth of Brookfield’s Private Markets client base in Australia

Responsible for:

  • Work with Australian CRMs to originate new client investment activity and marketing of funds:

    • Research and support CRMs to implement client outreach plans.

    • Detailed research and analysis, leveraging market data and other sources with the aim to create targeted prospective investor lists for new fund strategies

  • Relationship management

    • Assist in daily communication both internally (investor relations and Fundraise Management (“FM”) teams) and externally (prospects and existing investors)

    • Maintaining Brookfield’s internal CRM system (Salesforce) – ensuring current records and CRM activity is up to date

    • Coordinate, log, track and monitor client queries and requests to ensure timely and complete responses

    • Liaise with Business Group Investor Relations to coordinate responses to incoming  requests from both existing and prospective investors

  • Attend update meetings with senior CRMs and existing investors and cover on-site due diligence meetings:

    • Coordinate and attend meetings with Fundraise Management or Due Diligence Management (“DM”) and senior CRMs

    • Prepare premeeting reports and materials

    • Compile detailed pre-meeting reports for each client meeting involving Brookfield investment professionals

    • Complete profiles and summaries on prospects, as needed

    • Coordinate follow-up outreach for senior CRMs

    • Communicate directly with investors, as needed

    • Organise data room access in order for clients to commence DD.

  • Assist the GCG team with regional planning and reporting activities including:

    • Coordinating roadshows, conferences and investor meetings with respective Fundraise Management (“FM”) and Marketing Teams in conjunction with senior CRMs and APAC regional management

    • Coordinate and respond to adhoc requests from Fundraise Management and APAC management

    • Assisting with the annual business plan, including “bottom up” book build planning.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

A background in one or more of the following:

  • Undergraduate degree in business or commerce with an excellent academic background

  • 2-4 years of relevant working experience in the; financial services industry; alternative investment management; real estate, infrastructure, private equity, credit or alternative asset funds

Experience

  • Experience in analyzing and summarizing complex materials

  • Experience in a fast paced professional business environment

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, experience of Salesforce
