Boeing's Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Contracts organization is offering an exceptional and highly unique opportunity for a motivated Associate Contract Management Specialist. This role provides direct, high-visibility engagement with DLA customers and the chance to support multiple platforms and programs under Boeing's Captains of Industry Performance Based Logistics contract-experiences rarely found elsewhere in contracting organizations. As a trusted member of the team and partner to program leadership, you will lead request for proposal (RFP) analysis, proposal kickoffs, risk identification and mitigation, proposal management and development, negotiations, contract and modification awards, and post-award administration. You will represent Boeing externally, building and maintaining effective working relationships with customer counterparts across government, international and commercial stakeholders. You will be authorized to exercise delegated signature authority to prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer a variety of legally binding agreements, including sales, delivery and post-delivery obligations, financing arrangements, and intellectual property licenses. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will summarize contractual issues, craft creative solutions, and coordinate risk mitigation to enable successful program execution.

- Exercises appropriate signature authority to negotiate and contract for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing, and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies
- Supports presentation of business solutions to preserve and expand the business
- Represents the company and supports external negotiations with a diverse set of customers
- Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements on behalf of The Boeing Company
- Coordinates and partners with other internal functional disciplines across the business
- Summarizes contractual issues, supports development of creative solutions, and coordinates contractual risk mitigation efforts
- Leads the development of pricing instructions and the funding and expenditure profile for the program; establishes required approvals and processes, and ensures compliance with company policy and applicable United States Government (USG) regulations (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulations/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (FAR/DFARS))
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement, Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)
- 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
- 1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
- 1+ years of experience with proposal development, proposal management, and/or proposal strategies development
- Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and related government procurement regulations
- Experience using strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience working independently and collaboratively as a contributing team member
- Experience with effectively coordinating cross-functional activities and communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in responding to shifting schedules and priorities, with a track record of problem-solving and developing alternative solutions
