Purpose of Role
We are looking for a passionate and resilient individual to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a final-year university student or recent graduate seeking to establish a solid foundation in product engineering and work across multiple technology domains.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across:
- Architecture and design
- Software development and testing
- Cloud engineering
- Product support
- Data science
You'll work alongside experienced engineers in cross-functional teams on a range of initiatives and solutions, helping us revolutionise the lending landscape.
Accountability & Outcomes
- Work across multiple areas across the software development life cycle.
- Participate and lead design sessions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to real-world solutions under the guidance of the team, applying engineering and security best practices.
- Gain exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, scripting and automation.
- Provide hands-on product support and learn about operational excellence.
- Support project implementation and delivery initiatives.

Knowledge and Skills– Essential
What you should bring
- A solid understanding of core computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and systems thinking.
- Exposure to at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basics of software testing.
- An understanding of how the web works – APIs, HTTP, client-server interactions.
- Awareness of cloud platforms and infrastructure concepts.
- Curiosity around emerging technologies, particularly AI, and an interest in how they're changing software engineering.
