Target total compensation ranges from JPY 11,300,000-JPY 12,300,000, including a fixed annual salary of JPY 9,500,000 - JPY 10,250,000, quarterly bonuses, an employee equity plan grant + world-class benefits.

Requirements
We’re seeking a junior level staff for supporting local clients’ pre-post sales product implementation, defining implementation roadmap, & trouble shooting to ensure timely implementation & performance improvement of our Japanese enterprise accounts. This is a highly visible, IC-level role blending customer success, performance optimisation, and advertising strategy to drive value and growth across a global ecommerce portfolio.
You’ll be the technical and strategic point of contact for our top-tier clients, ensuring their campaigns deliver measurable impact and long-term ROI. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Client success, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to translate client goals into advertising solutions that drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Success & Performance
- Support sales and client success teams with pre-sale technical insights and own the identification of clients’ implementation issues & solution finding while working closely with client success & operations.
- Deliver on client success KPIs, including campaign adoption, retention, and revenue growth.
- Own the onboarding, activation, and ongoing success of strategic clients across Rokt’s ecosystem.
- Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying opportunities to increase performance, drive adoption, and expand the use of Rokt’s solutions.
- Working with the sales & client success team to find solutions for key pillars or initiatives identified during clients’ regular meetings & QBRs.
- Advertising Optimisation & Insights
- Use data-driven storytelling to recommend targeting strategies, campaign optimisations, and A/B tests to maximise advertiser return.
- Partner with Product and Data teams to surface new insights, custom solutions, and platform features that deepen value for each client.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales during pre-sale and upsell opportunities to articulate the technical feasibility and business value of Rokt’s platform.
- Liaise with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to champion the voice of the customer, influence roadmap priorities, and resolve escalations.
- Technical & Strategic Expertise
- Serve as the technical POC for top tier clients in Japan to enable full utilization of Rokt platform & its capabilities
- Stay current on e-commerce, personalisation, and performance marketing trends to elevate client strategies continually.
REQUIREMENTS
About you:
- 1-3 years of experience in similar roles within digital marketing, customer acquisition, or CRM/retention at an agency or SaaS company (MarTech or AdTech highly regarded)
- Familiar with presenting solutions to leading Japanese companies.
- Foundational understanding of the digital marketing landscape with a constant curiosity to learn more
- Familiarity with digital marketing, including but not limited to A/B testing, CRM tools, channels such as Facebook and Google, website personalisation, etc.
- Proven record in technical marketing, with the ability to communicate how to integrate these digital marketing tools into an ecommerce website
- You keep others in the company informed and up to date on your priorities, current tasks and work completed. You are consistently looking for ways to improve yourself professionally, and you encourage constructive criticism of your work.
- You have a passionate commitment to the customer and to product quality. You champion the product and the customer's needs and implement a model of continuous improvement in both company goals and project-related tasks.
- Track record of driving revenue growth through tweaking and optimising advertising campaign performance and identifying sales efficiencies through your relationships with clients.
