As an Assoicate the role is focused on providing ongoing client service and high-quality support to Financial Advisers and Partners within Perpetual Wealth Management.

The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private – Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning and Priority Life – offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice and trustee services. With a diverse range of capabilities including strategic advice on superannuation and retirement planning, general investment, asset protection, insurance, tax management, estate planning, aged care, social security, succession planning and philanthropy. Our clients include individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profit organisations and Indigenous communities throughout Australia.

About the role

  • Attend and actively participate in client meetings to support the Financial Advisers in the provision of a highly personal and compelling client experience

  • Arrange & coordinate documentation for client meetings

  • Oversee the preparation of annual review and new business plans including development of draft strategies, financial modelling, completion of fact find data and other inputs needed to complete advice instructions

  • Manage workflow to deliver to client needs. Maintain an understanding of operational processes for other teams including para-planning and operations

  • Contribute to effective risk and compliance management through ensuring appropriate measures, controls and activities are taken to fulfill corporate and regulatory compliance

About you

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in paraplanning or related financial services experience

  • Experience with Xplan and CFS Edge, desirable

  • Experience in a client facing role

  • Working knowledge of investments & advice strategies including, superannuation consolidation, retirement, personal insurance, structures, taxation, income streams & cash flow modelling.

  • Working knowledge of estate planning, philanthropy, aged care & debt management strategies desirable
