The Marketing Team
The Marketing Department partners with sales groups, investment teams, and executive leadership within Dimensional to extract, package, and spread Dimensional’s message and philosophy. Marketing works to best reflect Dimensional’s unique offer to clients and advance its position in the marketplace. Presentation Design plays a key role in maintaining brand standards and consistency of message and design across event presentation materials, collaborating with presenters as well as the rest of the marketing department to create and produce compelling event content.
The opportunity
The Associate, Presentation Design is responsible for the production of marketing collateral such as presentations, emails, forms, brochures, newsletters and events materials for print and digital distribution. The Associate, Presentation Design is a member of the Sydney Marketing Team which also supports the Singapore and Hong Kong offices. In this position you will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Events, Investments, Compliance, Legal and Corporate Services to produce external and internal content. You may also work with global marketing team on projects, provide events support to other international offices, such as the US, Japan and EMEA, as well as deal directly with internal clients.
The Role
Collaborate with workflow coordinator to meet all established deadlines, and proactively resolve issues that may impact the success of production support.
Display exceptional collaboration skills with stakeholders and help foster an environment of teamwork.
Maintain brand standards and consistency of message and design across a variety of mediums.
Deliver high quality work by ensuring accuracy of typing, layout, consistency, and format.
Work on multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
Maintain version control through the tracking of drafts as they progress to a final version.
Keep up-to-date records for each project in workflow database.
Ensure files are properly archived.
Adhere to established file naming conventions.
Adhere to established marketing production and quality control procedures.
Format numerical data, charts, text, and other visual graphic elements.
Pull master slides from an internal, web-based content management system.
Route iterations to the client and successfully addresses client feedback.
Route marketing collateral through Compliance, and, or Legal for approvals and make necessary revisions.
Accountable for digital delivery of the final versions of marketing collateral.
Create press-ready files and coordinate printing with external vendors.
Retouch digital images as needed.
Create, update & format PowerPoint presentations for virtual and in-person conferences, webcasts & events.
Convert print templates to on-screen event templates.
Produce Invitations, Reminders and post-event follow-up emails using Click Dimensions.
Produce digital and print event collateral such as Invitations, Agendas, Banners, Program Guides, Booth Branding.
Work directly with speakers to produce their presentations.
May consult with Senior Associate, Presentation Design or Senior Associate, Content Design, to clarify requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications
2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within an investment bank or financial services firm.
2-3 years of desktop publishing experience.
Expert in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and Adobe Acrobat. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Experience in typography, production and prepress skills preferred.
Experience translating and simplifying complex data through information graphics, charts and graphs.
Ability to learn in-house software quickly.
Strong attention to detail, the ability to work accurately within a corporate brand and a fast-paced environment and develop an understanding of the broader communication needs of the internal client base.
Excellent oral, presentation, and communications skills and a professional client service mind-set.
Experience working in a high-paced, deadline driven environment.
Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Highly organised, results oriented and process driven.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field is preferred.
