About the role?

The Aussie Products Manager plays a key role in managing and optimizing the Aussie Products suite, ensuring it delivers value to customers, brokers, and the business. This role requires a balance of operational expertise, commercial acumen, and exceptional relationship management skills to oversee the performance and integration of Aussie’s product offerings. The Aussie Products Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders, external partners, and operational teams to document processes, enhance efficiencies, and drive business outcomes.

By combining operational expertise, commercial insight, and strong partnership and relationship management skills, the Aussie Products Manager ensures the product suite remains a key driver of Aussie’s success and leadership in the market.

Job Description

The Aussie Products Manager is responsible for the operational management and strategic alignment of Aussie’s product suite, ensuring the delivery of innovative and competitive offerings. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Partnership Management:
    • Cultivating and managing relationships with product partners, ensuring alignment with Aussie’s strategic objectives.
    • Acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate needs, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  2. Process Documentation and Optimization:
    • Developing and maintaining detailed documentation of operational processes related to the Aussie product suite.
    • Identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements to enhance delivery, compliance, and customer experience.
  3. Operational Expertise:
    • Collaborating with operations teams to ensure the seamless implementation and management of Aussie products.
    • Monitoring and addressing operational challenges to ensure product performance and reliability.
  4. Commercial Acumen:
    • Analyzing market trends and product performance to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning.
    • Working with leadership to shape and implement strategic initiatives that maximize product profitability and value.
  5. Relationship Management:
    • Building strong internal and external relationships to support product success, broker engagement, and customer satisfaction.
    • Acting as a trusted advisor to partners and stakeholders, ensuring mutual success and alignment.

Qualifications

  • Some experience in a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst type role
  • Experience in Home Loans is highly desirable
  • Experience in digital customer journeys, either designing, building or managing
  • The ability to work closely with Design and Engineering, communicate our priorities, scope projects and deliver on a vision
  • Experience in analytics, consumer funnels and complex digital transactions is a bonus
  • Results-driven approach focused on delivering incremental value while balancing competing priorities. 
  • Collaborative, proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across various internal business units.
