Build your career at Iress!

This role sits at the intersection of product, sales and marketing. Its purpose is to ensure that the Wealth Management (WM APAC) business unit (BU) products are correctly positioned internally and externally, communicated and delivered to the right market in a way that drives adoption and growth.

The role will be responsible for the coordination and development of clear, customer-focused product messaging and articulate our position on emerging trends, ensuring alignment with both BU priorities and broader Iress Group strategies. Acting as the central point of engagement with product, sales and group marketing stakeholders, the role will provide oversight of messaging sign-off processes, maintain executive visibility, and build awareness of forthcoming campaigns.

By strengthening alignment, governance, and communication clarity, this role will support the Product Development and Wealth Management Leadership teams, Product Managers, and Group Executives to deliver a consistent market narrative that enhances customer confidence and reinforces Iress’ leadership position.

Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in:

Messaging and Positioning:

  • Develop and coordinate product messaging and go-to-market planning for existing and new product features in alignment with product strategy, ensuring consistency across customer-facing channels.

  • Work with product leaders and managers to frame product value propositions clearly and credibly for advisers and clients.

  • Conduct performance measurement of product marketing activities to track performance against success metrics to continuously improve marketing campaigns, and maximise customer awareness and adoption.

Industry Presence and Thought Leadership:

  • Support the articulation of the WM APAC BU perspective on emerging industry trends and regulatory developments.

  • Translate product insights into clear, accessible narratives that reinforce Iress’ leadership position.

Coordination with Group Marketing:

  • Act as a central coordination point with group marketing teams to ensure that WM APAC product positioning, messaging and marketing content is appropriately represented in broader Iress communications.

  • Build awareness of marketing initiatives across WM APAC to align product development with communication strategies.

Oversight and Governance:

  • Manage the sign-off process for WM APAC contributions to marketing activity, ensuring appropriate oversight and visibility for the EGM Customer, EGM Product, and the CEO.

  • Maintain a transparent approvals trail that ensures accountability and mitigates reputational risk.

  • Ensure WM APAC leadership is informed of group marketing campaigns and their implications for current and forthcoming products.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with WM APAC stakeholders including the Wealth Management Leadership Team (WMLT), General Managers, and Product Managers to ensure messaging reflects product and customer priorities.

  • Engage group stakeholders including the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), WM Marketing Managers, and Advisely product leads, to align coordination and avoid duplication.

  • Provide regular updates to WM stakeholders on key campaigns, client feedback, and positioning opportunities.

What you will bring:
  • Expert communicator across all levels of the business, able to distil complex information into clear, client-focused messaging

  • Detailed project manager with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, balancing planning, process and execution

  • An understanding of wealth management, financial services and drivers of performance across internal and external sales and marketing channels

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, interpret and translate data into meaningful insights and narratives

  • Solutions-focused approach with the ability to navigate tricky situations, provoke in the right way and think clearly and decisively about problems and solutions

  • Skilled at synthesising complex issues into formats that are accessible and engaging for diverse audiences

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to build relationships quickly and engage confidently at the executive level

  • Advocates for cross-functional collaboration, driving alignment and consistency across teams

  • High level of attention to detail and governance, ensuring accuracy and mitigating reputational risk

  • Proactive, resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with strong planning and organisational skills
