The Role

As part of our regional expansion in our Veeva QualityOne business, Veeva is currently looking for an Associate Solution Consultant who has a passion for helping our customers in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods and Food & Beverage industries, achieve their business vision for excellence in Quality Management.  

As a member of the Solution Consulting team, you will be responsible for working with our Account Partners to understand customers’ business challenges & needs, and to provide solution expertise including value-based product demonstrations of the Veeva Quality application suite.    

Your contribution will be critical in developing a technical sales strategy to support the Veeva Consumer Products team, as we focus on growing our market share in these new industries.

What You'll Do

  • Identify customer’s challenges and objectives and demonstrate solutions that address these requirements and bring business value to the organization
  • Communicate product knowledge and industry expertise to customers
  • Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle for all product- and technology-related inquiries
  • Assist the sales support team to prepare compelling, professional content for RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) responses for prospective clients
  • Support marketing initiatives and represent the company at key events, including public speaking and presentations

Requirements

  • 2+ years working for a SaaS Enterprise Software company, in technical position (Pre-sales/Sales Engineering/consulting/technical services), this could also be in a related role such as technical support or managed services.
  • You may have experience in or working with Quality Management functions at Fast Moving Consumer Goods/Food & Beverage companies, so you’re able to understand the complex business processes that our customers operate.
  • The ability to communicate clearly with clients and prospects is a must – particularly in the area of solution functionality. Also critical is the ability to be self-reliant, and to be able to work remotely or in a hybrid mode, often with minimal input from others in the team, and be able to manage & prioritize complex tasks across a number of customers & prospects. 
  • You may be asked to assist our Services team with putting together a comprehensive project proposal including estimates, methodology and best practices. You  may also be asked to take an active role in a project from time to time. 
  • This role will primarily be responsible for customers and prospects in ANZ hence you should be a native English speaker and have a permanent right to work in Australia

Nice to Have

    • Direct hands-on product experience with systems such as Veeva Vault, ETQ Reliance, Sparta TrackWise, OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum D2, FirstDoc FirstPoint, NextDocs, UL ComplianceWire, SAP QM and other quality information management or content management systems
    • Understanding of global quality requirements, compliance considerations and processes for Quality process and content management, Consumer Products/FMCG/Food & Beverage/Chemical and/or computer systems validation
    • Experience working with large, multi-national customers in Australia and New Zealand
    • Customer-facing consulting or project experience
