Job Description 

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality immigration services to corporate clients and their employees, ensuring compliance with Australia immigration legislation while providing an exceptional client experience.

As an Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and immigration experience, helping our clients solve their complex global immigration issues from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Case Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients requiring Australia immigration support.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and providing practical immigration solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end immigration process for corporate employees, including work visas, employer accreditation matters, residence applications, and other immigration pathways.
  • Prepare, review and submit immigration applications and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australia immigration requirements.
  • Provide clients with advice on immigration processes, timelines, legislative changes, and potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised case files and client records.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with Australia immigration, government agencies, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders to monitor application progress and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, providing regular updates throughout the immigration process.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all work complies with Australia immigration legislation, professional standards, and Vialto's internal quality requirements.
  • Stay up to date with changes in immigration legislation, policy, and operational processes.
  • Identify potential compliance risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.

Team Collaboration

  • Contribute to process improvements and the continuous development of the Immigration practice.
  • Support the implementation and effective use of technology platforms and case management systems.

Commercial Awareness

  • Accurately record time and support billing activities.
  • Manage clients work within agreed scope while identifying opportunities to provide additional value where appropriate.
  • Contribute positively to the continued growth of the Immigration practice.

What we are looking for:

  • Legal qualification or Registration as Migration Agent
  • Demonstrated experience managing Australia corporate immigration matters independently.
  • Strong understanding of Australia immigration legislation, policy, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple clients matters simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused professional services environment.
  • Experience using immigration case management systems is advantageous.
