LGT Wealth Management was formed around a clear and uncompromising vision – to bring global best practice in building institutional quality investment portfolios to Australian clients.

With a shared passion for building an uncompromised business – we created something new from the ground up. A chance to leave behind the things that weren’t working, while enhancing the things that were. Our authentic and personalised client-first commitment. Our entrepreneurial spirit. Our focus in best-in-class advice. And our intimate understanding of the Australian private wealth landscape.

In 2022 we became a part of the LGT Group, who shared our entrepreneurial spirit, long-term approach and private-ownership model. Today, with the global expertise, stability, and capability of LGT behind us, we can work without being reliant on markets or margins, with a singular focus on giving our clients the advice and deep expertise they need for generations to come.

About the Opportunity

Join LGT Wealth Management — one of Australia’s leaders in private wealth advice and part of the world’s largest family‑owned wealth management group.

We’re seeking an Associate to provide high‑quality operational and administrative support to our Advisory team. This is a long‑term career role focused on coordination, accuracy, and execution in support of high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients.

This opportunity suits someone who thrives on structure, precision and keeping a busy team running smoothly. We welcome candidates from a range of any corporate or financial services backgrounds - including wealth operations, paraplanning, financial planning, or other roles requiring strong organisational capability and attention to detail.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end onboarding processes, account openings, documentation and day‑to‑day portfolio administration.

  • Coordinate key operational activities including cash and stock transfers, corporate actions, settlements and international trading instructions.

  • Support investment advisers in preparing meeting packs, maintain records and ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant and delivered on time.

  • Support the team by managing workflows, tracking deadlines and ensuring smooth execution of daily tasks.

  • Liaise daily with clients, internal teams and external providers to resolve queries and deliver a seamless service experience.

  • Maintain meticulous client files and internal systems to support efficient team operations.

About You

  • Experience in wealth management or a similar client facing financial services role (desirable).

  • Background in administrative support, coordination, or operations - ideally within financial services, though strong experience in other professional settings will also be considered.

  • Exceptional organisational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with a professional, approachable style.

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with a solutions‑oriented mindset.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance or a related discipline (desirable but not essential).

  • RG146 accreditation or willingness to obtain it.

  • AML/KYC or derivatives accreditation considered an advantage.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • A values‑driven, purpose‑led culture - Our long‑term ownership model means stability, integrity and a commitment to sustainable success for clients and our people.

  • Exposure to global capability and sophisticated investing - Gain insight into private markets, sustainable investing and intergenerational wealth strategies as part of a global network.

  • A team that wins together - Collaboration is one of our core values. You’ll be surrounded by people who back you, share knowledge generously and celebrate collective achievements.

LGT Wealth Management is committed to the ongoing development of their employees. Your development will be managed and tailored to your role and future career path.

LGT Wealth Management is an equal opportunity employer committed to embracing a diverse and inclusive work environment. We aim to attract and retain the best people regardless of their gender, marital/parental status, ethnic origin, nationality, age, background, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity.
