The Audit & Assurance Manager drives the Freight audit strategy end-to-end, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and robust risk management across all Freight functions.
You’ll lead a high performing senior team, partnering closely with regulators, industry bodies, and executive leadership to provide independent oversight and trusted governance insights. The Audit & Assurance Manager designs and embeds quality assurance processes, champions continuous improvement, and works collaboratively with operational teams to standardise practices, strengthen controls, and enhance governance frameworks that support safe, efficient, and compliant Freight operations.
You’ll have;
- 5+ years’ experience in audit, assurance, or compliance within aviation, logistics, or other highly regulated environments.
- Internationally recognised audit credentials.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline, with professional audit credentials highly regarded.
- Deep understanding of risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance obligations, and assurance methodologies relevant to complex operational settings.
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan, lead, and execute audits end‑to‑end.
- Exceptional communication and report‑writing skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with audit management or governance systems, with the ability to adopt new digital tools to improve assurance processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence, challenge, and build trust across all levels of the organisation.
