About the role:

We’re expanding our Audit & Assurance team in Sydney and are seeking talented professionals to join us on a permanent basis. Be part of our success story and make a real impact with a firm that values your growth and contribution.

As an Auditor at RSM, you’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services and building trusted relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing audit engagements from planning through to completion and reporting

  • Preparing audit work papers and documenting findings across complex audit areas

  • Identifying and resolving technical accounting and audit issues

  • Reviewing financial statements for compliance with Accounting Standards

  • Leading and mentoring team members across multiple engagements

  • Ensuring audit methodology compliance and contributing to team development

About you:

You’re someone who:

  • Has 2.5+ years of audit experience, ideally with exposure to a range of industries

  • Has experience acting as in-charge (AIC) and supervising junior team members

  • Is CAANZ qualified (or close to completion)

  • Possesses strong technical knowledge of Australian or International Auditing Standards and the Australian Corporations Act

  • Communicates clearly and confidently with clients and colleagues

  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and contributes to a positive culture

  • Has a curious mindset and enjoys solving problems

  • Is passionate about delivering exceptional client service and adding value
