Role Summary/Purpose:
We are seeking a Product Owner for the PRISM program to lead the ongoing development of our Credit Underwriting platform - SynApps, driving key integrations and the migration from legacy technologies to a modern cloud-based architecture. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and decision-making abilities, technical acumen, and robust product management experience in Credit products. This role requires active collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align to business needs and deliver value.

Essential Responsibilities:
Champion Credit business perspective while guiding the migration of products and services from legacy to cloud platforms.
Collaborate with business and technology leadership to shape and communicate the vision and roadmap for SynApps 2.0.
Lead agile teams to execute & deliver the requires APIs, services, UI, and orchestration flows per the roadmap
Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to identify deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
Develop and maintain a well-prioritized backlog; partner with development teams to refine requirements and clarify acceptance criteria.
Lead product release planning and set clear delivery expectations.
Actively participate in PI (Program Increment) planning and related agile ceremonies.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Commerce, or in lieu of a degree, 5+ years of experience in Credit Acquisitions
5+ years of Project/Product Management experience
Strong familiarity with Scaled Agile practices and hands-on experience as a Product Owner.
Proven ability to actively engage in technical discussions and ensure development efforts align with business priorities
Desired Characteristics:
Track record of creative problem solving and ability to thrive in a cross-functional and hybrid work environment.
2+ years of experience in Credit Acquisition
Ability to multi-task & lead multiple products & teams.
High energy, self-motivated, with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
3+ years of experience leading software development projects
Ability to multitask in a face paced environment while influencing and making judgment calls.
Strong understanding of Revolving and Closed End Credit business concepts
Advanced proficiency with MS Office; experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
Experience writing test plans and scripts and participating in system validation
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 115,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
