Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to support cloud engineering, DevOps implementation, and automation initiatives. The role involves working with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, streamline deployment processes, and support cloud-based projects.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on DevOps experience who can contribute independently while collaborating within an Agile team.

Key responsibilities

  • Support implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins
  • Assist in cloud infrastructure deployment and automation using Terraform and ARM templates
  • Work with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes
  • Contribute to containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Perform system configuration and automation using tools like Ansible
  • Support cloud migration and enhancement projects in Microsoft Azure
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and App Insights
  • Maintain proper documentation of configurations, processes, and solutions
  • Collaborate in an Agile delivery environment, supporting sprint goals and deliverables
  • Assist in knowledge transfer and documentation for internal teams.
     

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience (Essential)

  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure (PaaS services such as App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Logic Apps)
  • CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM templates)
  • Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
  • Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Alpine)
  • Working knowledge of Azure Networking and Application Gateway
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and Git version control
  • Understanding of Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics)
  • Familiarity with identity and access management (Azure AD or AD B2C)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to configuration management tools (Ansible)
  • Experience supporting cloud migration projects
  • Basic understanding of DevOps security and governance practices
  • Prior customer or stakeholder interaction experience
