Sydney | Full-time | Hybrid – 2–3 days in our Sydney, Leichhardt office

What you will love about this role:

At 3P Learning, our award-winning products – Mathletics, Reading Eggs, Mathseeds and Writing Legends – reach millions of students and educators across the globe. Behind every school subscription and renewal is a B2B commercial team, and Finance sits right alongside them.

As our B2B Finance Business Partner, you’ll be the trusted finance partner to our B2B Commercial team. You’ll provide the commercial insight, pricing and margin analysis, and forecasting that help Sales win and retain customers profitably, while ensuring strong revenue governance and accurate B2B reporting to the group.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Risk, you’ll be based in Sydney, with flexible hybrid working under our PeaFlex policy. You’ll work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, B2B Sales Leaders and Account Managers, Sales Operations, and our Global and Regional Finance Teams.

What you will do:

  • Act as the trusted finance partner to B2B Sales team, be involved in the pipeline and forecast process and turning financial results into clear commercial insights.
  • Assist with providing deal pricing, margin analysis and commercial analysis, including contract reviews and recommendations, and support ongoing review of sales commission plans.
  • Prepare monthly finance B2B KPI reporting and dashboards.
  • Manage the collection of information and the preparation of annual B2B cost allocation and budget inputs, and maintain the monthly forecast for APAC, explaining key variances to Sales.
  • Review B2B month-end APAC financial results and provide B2B commentary for the CFO pack.
  • Partner with Sales and the AR team on ongoing financial and operational controls and procedure improvements.
  • Build a strong working knowledge of our NetSuite, Salesforce and Adaptive integration, and help review the effectiveness of internal controls over B2B sales processes.
  • Identify and support automation and reporting improvements and share finance knowledge to lift commercial and financial acumen across the Sales team.

What you’ll bring:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in finance roles, including at least 2 years in a commercial finance or business partnering role, with experience collaborating with operational teams.
  • A completed CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, margin analysis and subscription metrics such as ARR, retention and licence counts.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce or similar business technology, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
  • Experience using AI tools for analysis and presentation, and an appetite to find better ways of working.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • An engaging and collaborative style, with the confidence to influence and constructively challenge Sales stakeholders, so that your recommendations are timely, evidence-based and taken up in deal decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a “finisher” mindset: you have the tenacity to get things right the first time, deliver accurate reporting with minimal rework, and meet deadlines, including a month-end close and commentary completed by Day 5.
  • An independent problem solver who makes things happen, takes ownership of issues through to resolution, and has a genuine passion for learning.

Why you’ll love working at 3P Learning:

At 3P Learning, you’ll be part of a dynamic ASX-listed company with global reach, but still your ideas will be heard, your contributions visible, and your impact real.

This is an opportunity to grow your corporate finance career as a trusted commercial partner to our B2B Sales team, in a high-growth multinational environment and alongside a high-performing, highly experienced team.

You’ll also enjoy 3 extra “purpose days” of paid leave each year to dedicate to what matters most to you – whether that’s volunteering, personal projects, or simply recharging. 3P-ers also enjoy complimentary access to all our learning products.

You’ll make a meaningful difference to the educational technology industry, helping to deliver world-class products that teachers and students love, in a dedicated, collaborative and supportive environment where everyone shares a common mission.
