We’re looking for two Senior Backend Developers with strong DevOps experience to join our team and contribute to a couple of exciting new projects. This is an initial 12-month contract with a strong view to extend based on project outcomes and team fit.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing robust backend services using JavaScript/TypeScript and Java
- Building and deploying serverless and containerized applications on AWS
- Implementing event streaming architectures and real-time data flows
- Managing infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Collaborating on DevOps practices to streamline CI/CD and cloud operations
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years backend development experience
- experience in DevOps engineering (Terraform is preferred)
- Strong expertise Java backend development
- Hands-on experience with AWS (primarily serverless and container-based architectures)
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, databases, and auth
- Proficiency in API design, management, and best practices
- A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to enabling team success
