Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES
As a Banqueting Supervisor (M/F), you will report to the F&B Director and you will be responsible for:

- Supervise all phases of banquet functions, including setup, food service, and cleanup.

- Coordinate activities daily and act as the primary point of contact with the banquet host during events.

 - Ensure that banquet rooms and work areas are clean and properly maintained.

- Oversee the proper usage and working order of all equipment, furniture, and fixtures.

- Implement service standards and departmental policies consistently.

- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns promptly.

- Collaborate with the kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.

- Schedule and manage banquet staff, preparing weekly duty charts to correspond with banquet functions.

- Provide unique and creative ideas to enhance the guest experience.

- Professional experience in similar roles . 4 or 5 star hotels or restaurants/bars of a higher category 
- Knowledge of Portuguese and English and preference for another foreign language (fluent spoken language). 
- Minimum 12 years of schooling and/or professional course adapted to the position 
- Knowledge of AHCCP hygiene and safety standards 
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Internet and specific applications for the catering/hotel area.
