What does a successful Inside Sales Team Manager  do at Fiserv?

Dynamic and results oriented Inside Sales Team Manager to lead our sales

team in selling point of sale (POS) and payment technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the payments landscape, and a proven track record in driving sales performance.

What you will do:

Team Leadership: 

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing inside sales team.
  • Set clear objectives and performance metrics for team members to ensure alignment with company goals.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in the POS and payments technology sector.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adapt strategies accordingly.

Performance Management:

  • Monitor and analyse team performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement plans for improvement as necessary.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure a unified approach to customer communication and outreach.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Analyse and optimize the sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize CRM tools and analytics to track sales activities and customer interactions.

Reporting and Collaboration:

  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management indicating sales trajectory, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, with 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in POS or payments technology.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing systems, merchant services, and e-commerce solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team, driving sales performance and achieving targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
