Care to join the team?

GenesisCare is now looking for an efficient Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial administrative tasks across multiple Oncology practices and working with the site-based Patient Services staff in the delivery of high-quality patient centred services.

The key focus of the role is to actively manage and process financial tasks including the generation of invoices, payment plans, payments, and debt collection.

This role provides network support to the non-patient facing functions of the billing cycle, managing the process across the three Oncology services, Radiation, Medical Oncology & Theranostics.

On offer is a part time role working 3 days per week, Monday to Friday on a maximum term contract through to July 2026. This is a remote role – working from home.

More Specifically you will:

  • Patient Revenue Cycle Management
  • Code Review
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Accounts receivable function
  • Financial Eligibility checks

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of and an ability to provide excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
  • Medical accounts processing skills including knowledge of Medicare, DVA and private health funds.
  • Demonstrated ability in using clinical administration systems (Mosaiq/PBRC) and Microsoft Office software particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external business stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven experience to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
