Job Description
As a Senior Designer at BMF, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing our creative ideas to life, ensuring they are world-class, beautifully crafted, and delivered to the highest standard. You’ll inspire both the creative department and the wider team with your passion for design and associated crafts, setting the benchmark for quality across the agency. You’ll also oversee production where needed, making sure every piece of work that reaches the market is executed flawlessly and reflects the creative energy within BMF.
- Work on or support creative/design briefs, produce & oversee concepts for all clients.
- Producing world class creative presentations for current clients and new business opportunities including working as the Design Lead on pitches.
- As a Design Lead, run projects from concept to completion, including client presentations, workshops and overseeing roll-out stages. This role will require Figma skills, to oversee & design assets for various campaigns.
- Be involved in partnership with Creative Teams, Head of Design and Studio Manager in the growing Design department and help shape the visual execution of campaigns and branding across all clients and mediums when required.
- While we work on a range of different clients and sectors; Banking, Insurance, Tourism, Government, Food & Beverage clients, this role will be predominantly working on Westpac. The split of this role is 50% Westpac creative, 50% other client work(Supporting on ALDI, Federal Government, BWS, Dan Murphies, Tourism Tasmania. The type of design work at BMF is varied and highly conceptual, working alongside creative teams to bring to life high-level brand and retail campaigns and building brand distinctive assets and guidelines.
- Liaise with production, studio and design to ensure finished results are of a high standard
- Knowledge of Client’s brand and overall strategy
- All work should be completed to the highest creative standard that budget and time allows
- Responsible for project scoping and estimating as required
- Accurate and timely completion of timesheets
Qualifications
- Thorough working knowledge of CS6 Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Figma
- Excellent retouching skills and ability to work on high-end complex composition jobs
- Hand and computer drawn illustrations for use in layout and content video jobs
- Be able to produce jobs from concept through to artwork with oversight from senior team members.
- Ability to work across traditional design platforms.
- Ability to manage studio workflow
- Full Creative Suite knowledge: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
- Basic working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides.
- Bonus skills; AI, Midjourney, Adobe Firelfy
