About the role

As the Brand Manager – Gin & Liqueurs you will be focused on accelerating Baileys, Mr Black, Gordon’s & Tanqueray, with growth in line with the annual operating plan. This will need to be done in close partnership with Commercial, Commercial Excellence, Revenue Growth Management, Insights, Innovation, Category and Supply teams.

You’ll be leading a cross-functional team to develop the Australian brand strategy and execute tactics for growth including (pending brand) ATL communication, innovation, customer and shopper marketing activity and commercial programs. The successful individual will create passion and advocacy across the business for the brand vision and drive momentum across all customers and stakeholders whilst playing a leading role in building capability across the department for how we operate and execute differently.

So, what does this role look like for you? 

  • Execution of in year brand plans – Flawless execution of plans to deliver maximum growth for Baileys, Mr Black, Gordon’s and Tanqueray, delivering to AOP for, leveraging insight and M&E to build a plan for further growth in future 

  • Leading a strategy that drives accelerated growth for Liqueurs and Gin – Leading the development and implementation of strategies on Baileys, Mr Black, Gordon’s and Tanqueray, setting the brand up for accelerated share growth in F26 and beyond 

  • Innovation Pipeline and NPD launches – Partner with Innovation to develop a rolling 3 year innovation pipeline and exceptional go-to-market launch plans for key innovation projects Liqueurs and Gin as required   

  • Leading monthly business performance reporting – Category management for Liqueurs and Gin, identifying opportunities for growth and margin expansion, and engaging with Commercial and Revenue Growth Management on execution against these 

So, what about you?

  • Relevant experience including 8+ years in CPG Marketing

  • Degree or MBA qualification in relevant discipline. (E.g. Business / Commerce / Marketing)

  • Strong proven experience creating strategies for growth.

  • Curious about consumers and what drives them, and can unlock insights to change consumer relationships with brands

  • Proven experience inspiring and collaborating with agency partners to deliver breakthrough communications thinking. Thinks outside existing paradigms and nurtures big ideas.

  • Builds strong cross-functional relationships.

  • Brings energy and passion to the business and creates mass followership.
