Collaborating with cross-functional global and regional teams, you implement brand strategy that is aligned with our brand vision to drive sustainable growth and to deliver business objectives. You also support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives, including new product development and platform opportunities
How you will contribute
You will work with others to execute the brand strategy for designated brands, develop product and packaging initiatives, implement pricing strategies, and plan and execute integrated marketing communication and media plans. You will also provide recommendations for integrated commercial plans and provide input and support in the development and execution of marketing plans to ensure they meet revenue, profit targets, sharing objectives and monitoring performance. Based on your strong understanding of consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, you ill help develop integrated marketing communications and 360 degree campaigns.

Philadelphia is a category leader and a historic brand loved by Italian families. With a strong heritage and deep consumer connection, it plays a key role in the cheese category.
As Brand Manager Philadelphia, you will translate market & consumer insights into brand strategies and action plans that drive sustainable growth.
Responsibilities include:
Equity localization:

  • Localize Philadelphia's brand equity with a long-term strategy and short-term actions that reflects its positioning with a clear brand purpose.
  • Strategic planning:
  • Develop 3-year marketing plans Philadelphia in line with the company's and country's vision.
  • Use consumer insights and market trends to define and refine brand strategy.


Annual Plan development:

  • Lead and develop 360° activation programs (ATL/BTL) to drive brand growth and consumer engagement.
  • Work with internal & external stakeholders to secure execution excellence of programs
  • Develop annual media plans to maximize reach and impact.
  • Work with central marketing team and creative agencies as "one team" to develop brand plans & big activations


Portfolio & Innovation:

  • Lead portfolio management for Philadelphia, ensuring a strong and competitive brand offering in the Italian market.
  • Develop Go to market strategies for new products
  • On-going:
  • Have full P&L responsibility, build-up of annual budgets & monthly forecasts
  • Manage Marketing Budget
  • Closely co-operate with internal stakeholders (Category Planning, Sales, Finance, PCM, etc.) &
  • external partners (Creative & Media Agencies)
  • Conduct market analysis on a regular basis to drive deep understanding of performance drivers to propose action plans accordingly
  • Monitor business against specific KPIs (e.g. sell-in, sell-out, market shares, Equity tracking, etc.)

The right person for the job:

  • University degree and MBA or Master's degree
  • A minimum of 4/5 years brand management experience, FMCG preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving capabilities & agility in a dynamic environment
  • Analytic & creative thinking skills
  • Strong & broad commercial acumen
  • Ability to influence, cross functional and cross-cultural teams in an engaging way
  • Drive for results, high level of autonomy, team player & agility to perform in a dynamic environment
  • Proven project management & presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian is mandatory
