Your unique contribution

This is an outstanding opportunity to join Pernod Ricard’s Global Travel Retail team. As a  Business Analyst you will report into the Finance Manager and be based in our Sydney office.

This role focuses on building the financial forecast in a strong collaboration with the commercial team, managing the month end tasks, analysing business performance and providing insights on the new products launches and promotional tactics.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Be key financial point of contact for commercial team, supporting them through Trade terms negotiations, price increase submission, challenge their pricing decisions & promotional tactics and validate claims submissions

  • Review and analyse sales forecasts for the Travel Retail Pacific, ensuring accurate submission in the systems, and prepare review decks for the senior management

  • Contributing to Group Revenue Growth initiatives, collaborating on pricing and promotional strategies, and recommending corrective actions

  • Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, financial models and templates, internal controls and financial processes

  • Oversee master data mapping as a super user and champion of ERP and Finance tools

  • Participate in ad hoc projects as required

  • Tertiary Qualification in Commerce (Business/Accounting/Finance)

  • Advanced user of excel and preferably experience with Power BI

  • Good Analytical skills in being able to correlate information and give a solution

  • Business Partnering experience with commercial or marketing teams an advantage

  • Proactive, highly motivated, and advanced interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships
