Job Description

As a Business Analyst you will play a key role in a large-scale enterprise transformation across Payroll, Core HR, and Workforce Management. You will be responsible for eliciting and validating business requirements, designing future-state processes, and ensuring seamless integration across systems, working closely with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Technology. This is a contract opportunity.

In this role, you will translate Australian payroll legislation, awards, and EBAs into functional requirements, while supporting configuration validation across payroll calculations, leave, and superannuation. You will also contribute to workforce management requirements such as rostering, time capture, and integrations, ensuring accurate data flow and reconciliation across HR, payroll, and time systems.

Additionally, you will support end-to-end testing (SIT, UAT, parallel runs), payroll reconciliation, and defect triage, while contributing to data migration, data quality, and master data integrity. Acting as a key liaison between business and technology teams, you will also support stakeholder engagement, change impact activities, and program reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst within large enterprise or transformation environments
  • Proven delivery experience across Payroll, HRIS, and Workforce Management / Time & Attendance systems
  • Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, EBAs, and compliance requirements
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG/Kronos (or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience in system implementations, migrations, or transformation programs
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills across business and technology teams
