More experienced consultants may lead workstreams, manage consultant teams, mentor colleagues, develop proposals, support sales presentations, and negotiate contracts.

ABOUT YOU
At least 3 years of experience as a management consultant, or experience in business analysis and project management.
- Strong knowledge of one or more of Private Banking, Wealth Management, Superannuation, Retail & SME banking, Insurance, Risk and Regulatory
- Strong business analysis experience. Ability to apply proven methodologies and approaches to identify solutions to client problems.
- Creative and strategic thinking skills
- Structured problem solving, and the ability to explain results.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with appropriate prioritization, and to work independently while still being a team-player.
- Ability to produce high-quality consulting deliverables (proposals, customer presentations, consulting reports).
- Support project implementation including meeting project key milestones, timeline and proactively manage and resolve issues.
- Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written).
- Work well in cross-functional teams.
- Remain current on new developments in financial services industry and technical knowledge.
- Consistently deliver quality client services and manage expectations of client service delivery.
- Demonstrates integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.
- Ability to communicate with client leaders to influence direction and manage expectations.
- Ability to work in collaborative and client-facing environments.
- Experience with the following or other similar technology solutions will be highly regarded - Thought Machine, Mambo, Avaloq, Temenos, FNZ, nCino, Entsia and other insurance applications
- Based in Sydney or Melbourne

- Analysis on the needs and issues of the client through interviews and workshops.
- Requirements gathering and documentation.
- Involvement in grooming and planning sessions, highlighting potential risks to the project.
- Parameterize software/systems, including business modules.
- Design and develop code bases based on business requirements presented.
- Provide support to SIT, UAT, cutover and post go-live activities including testing, development, and package deployment.
- Document the project into systems and processes for management review.
- Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking.
- Independently drive the success of a work stream by directing activities, ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission.
- Manage a team of consultants by defining meaningful work packages, managing activities, and through mentorship.
- Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to translate their requirements into well formulated solutions.
- Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking.
- Participate in business development activities including topic development, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and contract negotiation.
