Business Analyst Senior Consultant

As a Business Analyst Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting business and technology transformation projects for leading Insurance organizations across Life & Health, P&C, Retirement & Investments, Creditor, and Institutional lines of business.

This role is suited for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with deep business analysis and insurance industry expertise. You will act as a trusted advisor to client executives, lead critical workstreams, mentor junior team members, and deliver actionable insights that connect business and technology to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Insurance clients, helping define and execute transformation agendas across business models, operating models, and technology roadmaps
  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with client senior leadership, ensuring alignment of strategy, project progress, and long-term goals
  • Lead teams to deliver high-quality solutions, while mentoring and developing team members in areas such as data analysis, requirements gathering, and project management
  • Independently own deliverables and manage workstreams, providing subject matter expertise on insurance industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Gather and translate complex requirements into actionable user stories, EPICs, and structured processes that drive customer and stakeholder impact
  • Create compelling, executive-level presentations and insights through storytelling and data visualization
  • Guide quantitative analysis and research to shape recommendations, highlight opportunities, and drive measurable outcomes
  • Contribute to the design and execution of complex digital transformation programs, including customer experience enhancements, operational improvements, and process re-engineering
  • Support business development by contributing to proposals, RFPs, and thought leadership

 

Show Us What You’ve Got 

It will be very useful if you have some or all the following skills and experience: 

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, including 4+ years in the Insurance industry at the intersection of business and technology
  • Proven ability to build and present business cases that clearly articulate value and prioritize issues/solutions for senior stakeholders
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, facilitation, and independently leading stakeholder sessions, including with C-suite executives
  • Expertise in Agile delivery, including EPIC creation and user story development aligned to project scope
  • Knowledge of process re-engineering, emerging technologies in digital ecosystems, and technology-driven transformation within Insurance
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across business and technology, build lasting relationships, and influence decision-making
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding junior team members and fostering team-oriented environments
  • Track record of innovative problem-solving and delivering strategic, client-focused solutions
  • Experience driving consulting proposals and RFP responses
  • Exposure to related roles and broader financial services experience is an asset
  • Established or emerging network with insurance client executives
