Job DescriptionAs a Business Analyst in Billings & Credit, you are an important contributor to analysing business problems and recommending solutions which drive data decision making within our organisation.
As a Business Analyst, you will use your analytical skills and experience to contribute to specialist analysis which leverage a variety of analytical tools to draw critical insights which drive commercial outcomes. To build capability for coverage against TCP Billing and Credit obligations.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Billing Controls Governance & Development Program of Work to achieve key targets to ensure compliance with Billing and Credit TCP obligations.
- Liaise with key BU/product/system leads in order to obtain a deep understanding of the billing and credit activities and the supporting processes and systems architecture
- Understand the key customer lifecycle processes that can adversely impact a customer and to mitigate these through controls built using SQL and Data360
- Define Requirements, Design, Build, Test and Deploy analytics
- Identify process gaps and key pain points in the processes leading to billing and credit breaches
About you
To be successful in the role, you'll bring skills and experience in:
- Strong analytics / programming experience.
- Tertiary qualified in Commerce, Business, Information Systems, Statistics, or related discipline.
- Proven data extraction, cleansing and manipulation skills.
- Significant experience with data manipulation, using CAATs (Computer Aided Audit Tools), SQL, Excel
- Good knowledge on Microsoft presentation/projects software e.g. PowerPoint and Project
- Experience in Billings and Credit
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) are desirable.
- Strong relationship building, interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to establish rapport, influence outcomes and gain co-operation of others.
- Analytical and process design skills
- Experience and understanding of the telecommunications industry will be looked upon favourably.
