The team is looking for a Business Development Associate to further develop our business with major Institutional clients in Australia. The Associate will be responsible for assisting in building a pipeline of prospects across various Institutional clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who wants to learn more about the institutional investment industry and make a significant contribution to our business model.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads and help source new business opportunities
  • Partner with senior sales team members schedule meetings with new prospects, set up meetings with existing strategic accounts to identify growth and cross selling opportunities, and manage client feedback calls.
  • Meet designated prospecting and meeting targets through cold calling and other lead generation efforts.
  • Assist in research and learning the client’s research needs and procurement process.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the primary research methods, the competitor landscape, and the institutional investment industry investment process and investment strategies.

What You Have:

  • Recognised Bachelor's degree 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to building relationships and the ability to sell.
  • Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients across different industry sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere that is both fast-paced as well as results-oriented
  • Desire to work in a sales/ lead generation role that is KPI and metrics-driven
