About the role:

Our Commercial team are now looking for a Business Development Manager specialising in Frame & Truss who can forge strong business relationships with key stakeholders and help drive our success in the NSW Region. As we continue to grow and invest in our Commercial offering now has never been a better time to progress your career within Bunnings.  

With Frame and Truss Manufacturing operating in Minto, Warnervale, Unanderra, Hallam, Truganina and Wacol you will be a key figure in the success of the New South Wales team.

Reporting directly to the Category Specialist Manager, this role is focused on developing new clients to secure business for our Frame and Truss Manufacturing sites in NSW.

What’s involved:

The key to success in this role - is someone who has extensive experience working with Frame and Trusses, has a technical ability to develop strategies and plans to target growth opportunities, establish new relationships and continue to support our existing customer base.

You are confident with a strong knowledge of the industry with a good understanding NCC building code standards.

If you are a knowledgeable and experienced sales professional who can confidently engage in supporting and converting new business opportunities ensuring that our customers receive the most appropriate, value-added solutions that suit their business needs.

Who we're looking for:

In this role, you will drive and execute strategic sales plans of Bunnings Trade through use of your expertise and knowledge in our large range of products and services. You will work collaboratively with our other members of the Bunnings team ensuring that our customers are provided with the very best Price, Range and Service. 

You’ll need:

  • Good knowledge of Pryda Systems used to engineer Frames and Trusses
  • Good understanding of NCC Building Code Standards
  • Strong ability to drive new business whilst building excellent relationships with existing client base
  • Ability to develop, implement, and manage a budget aligned to company expectations
  • Engage with various Builders in NSW.
  • Build strategic insights and plan around new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategies to address local opportunities and combat competitor activities
