This stance accounts for a good working environment at Miele and the success of our products. Our colleagues can rest assured that those who live up to our standards of quality and professionalism grow personally and professionally, no matter if they are apprentices or managers.

Make our claim your challenge whether in Gütersloh, Melbourne or Auckland! Become one of more than 23,000 Miele employees across 50 countries who are committed to making our products even better every day and helping us expand our innovation leadership.

About Your Workplace

You'll join Miele's Projects team, responsible for growing our presence across NSW residential construction and development industry. This role combines business development, relationship management and strategic sales, partnering with builders, developers, architects, interior designers and Miele Chartered Agency partners to influence appliance specifications from concept through to project completion. If you're passionate about building long-term partnerships and thrive in a commercially driven environment, this is an exciting opportunity to represent one of the world's most respected premium brands.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with home builders, property developers, architects, interior designers and other key stakeholders across NSW.

  • Identify, influence and convert new residential project opportunities, driving specification of Miele products from the early planning stages.

  • Develop and execute business development plans to acquire new builder partnerships and expand Miele's project pipeline.

  • Deliver product presentations, training sessions and regular business reviews with customers and strategic partners.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and customer information within CRM to support business planning.

  • Attend industry events, networking opportunities and trade shows to generate new business and strengthen Miele's market presence.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes while achieving sales targets and growing market share.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven success in business development or B2B sales, ideally within construction, property development, architectural specification or premium products.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence commercial outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, manage complex sales cycles and consistently achieve sales targets.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage sales pipelines, forecasting and CRM systems effectively.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; knowledge of project lead generation tools such as BCI or Cordell will be highly regarded.

  • A self-motivated and proactive approach, with the flexibility to travel regularly.

Our Benefits

  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.

  • Ongoing learning, development and career progression opportunities.

  • Generous employee discounts on premium Miele products.

  • Meaningful recognition programs that celebrate individual and team success.

  • Quarterly Life Leave – one paid day each quarter to recharge
